Ghosts Through the Phone. “Theory Talk” Vol. 2

Ghosts Through the Phone. “Theory Talk” Vol. 2

Be sure you’re all caught up with this series! “Theory Talk”

———

It’s time for more Theory Talk! (*party favor noises*) Today we’re going to be talking about ghost, and why they think they can just travel through our phones and then haunt us. So the theory is that ghosts have the ability to travel through all phone lines and cellular waves and basically come through your phones speaker or whatever and proceed to haunt you that way. Usually you’d have to ‘invite’ spirits into your house in order for them to haunt you, but sometimes ghosts just say ‘fuck that’ and haunt you because they feel like it. Sometimes you don’t even have to be talking on the phone. Some people have reported getting voice mail messages from demonic sounding creatures. After listening to the voice mail, that’s when people report strange things start to happen. A few months ago I talked about one specific demonic voice mail that was received by a small number of people, though only one reported strange activity after listening to the message. Now in addition to phones, some have wondered if ghosts can travel through your computer, though it isn’t as popularly accepted as the phone theory. I don’t believe it’s possibly through the computer since there’s no real ‘exit point’ for the spirits to come out of. But you may be asking, ‘well how are the ghosts able to travel out of phones?’ and the answer is because of the electricity. Electricity is supposedly a perfect conduit for spirits, that’s why full camera batteries suddenly die when a ghost is near by.

So here’s my thoughts on this theory. It’s certainly a plausible theory I’ll give it that. But, I don’t really think it’s true. First I’ll admit that I do find that demonic voice mail message a bit weird and I really can’t come to a definitive conclusion, but I’m pretty sure those people we’re either pranked or were in on the whole thing together. There have also been cases where people say that a demonic voice will actually come and screech/growl on the phone WHILE the people are still talking. Both parties hear it, but they can’t hear each other. In those cases, I believe that it was just a case of horrible static/radio interference. That could explain why both parties can hear the demon, but they can’t hear each other. I also don’t think ghosts can come out of you’re phone’s speaker without you knowing and then start haunting you. I think people saw things like that one episode of the ‘Twilight Zone’ where the old ladies dead husband keeps calling her and countless other horror movies/shows that connected ghosts with phones and people changed things around a bit and then ran with it. To me, the whole theory is just a Hollywood scare-tactic that got taken seriously and literally because of how real it could be. So i don’t believe in the theory myself, but for those who do I really don’t fault them because it honestly could possibly be true, but only if everything we ‘know’ about ghosts is actually true. (i.e. they use electricity as energy, ect.) What do you think? Can ghosts actually go through phones or talk to people through them and haunt us or is it just some Hollywood scare-tactic that got taken to seriously/literally? And what of those reports of spirits hijacking phone calls and talking to people? Is it actually spirits or is it just bad radio/static interference?

———

Well I thought I’d heard it all when I heard that Bigfoot might be an alien, but apparently Bigfoot is so mysterious that people are continuing to come up with theories as to why we haven’t found/captured him yet. And today we’re going to talk about one of these theories that’s actually been around for a while. So, here’s the theory. The reason why we’ve been unable to find is because he’s a shapeshifter. Some Bigfoot eyewitnesses have claimed that they saw Bigfoot literally transform into a rock or tree stump once it realized people were looking at it. Others say Bigfoot went completely invisible. (Bigfoot is really the Predator!) It’s unclear if this theory stems from the Native American “Skinwalker” legend, which tells of people who have the ability to shapeshift into any animal they desire (sometimes they must be wearing the pelt of whatever animal they want to shift into). One hint that it might’ve stemmed form the Skinwalker legend is Bigfoot has actually been attributed to the legend. OK, while the theory isn’t the weirdest Bigfoot theory out there (there  are some weird theories about Bigfoot), it’s still pretty far fetched. But could it actually be true? If you believe in the Skinwalker legend, then maybe it could be seen as plausible, but I have a problem with linking the two together. If Bigfoot is actually a person who transformed into a Bigfoot, then is it possible for them to transform into a second form, and can that form be an inanimate object? The Skinwalker legend tells of people being able to morph into ANIMALS, not rock or trees. But, let’s say that Bigfoot isn’t a person but is it’s own species. That would mean that Bigfoot has the magical abilities to morph into objects in it’s surroundings and even turn fully invisible. Even if it had this power, it still has no connection to the Skinwalker legend because, again, Skinwalkers can only change into animals. So while some might connect this theory with the Skinwalker legend, I don’t think they’re related at all other than the whole ‘changing shape’ thing. And lastly, let’s just say that Bigfoot does have the ability to change into rocks and stumps. If this is the case, then why don’t all Bigfoots do this when they’re spotted? It seems that only a small handful of Bigfoots have been witnessed morphing. Most others just continue to walk, run away or stare at the spectators. And it’s because of that reason, that I don’t think Bigfoot is a shapeshifter. If this were true, then I think we’d have a lot more people saying that Bigfoot morphed into a big rock right in front of them, and we’d probably would’ve seen evidence of this ability on tape by now. So, what do you think? Is Bigfoot able to shapeshift at will or have people just mistaken Bigfoot’s masterful ability at natural camouflage for a supernatural power? If Bigfoot can shapeshift, is it somehow related to the Skinwalker legend or do the two have no connection at all?

Do Hollywood Movies Influence UFO Sightings? “Theory Talk” Vol. 4

Do Hollywood Movies Influence UFO Sightings? “Theory Talk” Vol. 4

Be sure you’re all caught up with this series! “Theory Talk”

———-

I’ve got a lot to say about Hollywood. And I mean a LOT, but we’re not going to be talking about Hollywood as a whole. Instead, we’re going to talk about a theory that might actually explain a lot of UFO sightings. The theory is that around the time that Hollywood movies that deal with UFOs or aliens are released, the number of UFO reports/sightings goes up. A prime example is back in 1996 when the popular Will Smith movie ‘Independence Day’ was released. In 1995, only 117 UFO sightings were reported. But in 1996, the number spiked to 609 UFO sightings. Some believe that when people go to see these movies, they suddenly become more attentive to the skies which means more people see more UFOs. But others seem to think that these movies cause a sort of hysteria which then makes people think that almost every aircraft they see is a UFO. So that’s the theory, here’s where I stand. I think that this is true, here’s why. Movies have to power to influence people greatly. If you remember, when the original ‘War of the Worlds’ came out on the radio, people quickly freaked out because they thought it was real. And to a point, that still happens to this day. After watching a scary movie, you’ll probably find yourself being more wary of the dark for the next few days. Same thing with UFOs. People start to wonder if the UFOs they saw in the movie could be real and they look to the sky to see if they can catch a glimpse of a UFO. But those are just my thoughts, now it’s time for you to decide where you stand. Do you think that big Hollywood movies such as ‘Independence Day’ and ‘Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind’ influence the number of UFO reports/sightings or do the two have no correlation at all?

Oh no, is this another series? Actually no (whew), this is just a remake of an old post that I did a long time ago and after looking at it now, I don’t like how it turned out. Now, let’s get this post started!

————

What is Bigfoot? He’s apparently an alien now. That’s right, there’s a theory out there that some say explains why Bigfoot is so elusive and why we’ve never found a body. The theory is that Bigfoot is actually an extraterrestrial being. Evidence that Bigfoot is an alien can be dated back to around the 1880’s where a California cattleman described an encounter with a group of Indians. They were friendly and they led him to a cave where he saw a hefty humanoid creature covered in long, shiny black hair, with no neck, sitting cross-legged. The Indians told him that he one of three “Crazy Bears” that came from a “small moon” that dropped from the sky, which then left after the “Crazy Bears” came out of the “moon”. Now fast forward to 1973 in Cincinnati, Ohio. A woman named Mrs. Reafa Heitfield and her 13 year-old son were both alseep in their trailer on October 21st. Mrs. Heitfield awoke at around 2:30 a.m. and went to go get some water. That’s when she noticed strange lights in the adjoining parking lot. Looking out the window, her attention was drawn to an inexplicable cone of light that was shaped like a bubble umbrella and was estimated to be about 7 feet in diameter. She then spotted a grey-ish, ape-like figure with a downward angled snout, no neck and a sizable waist. It was slowly walking towards and entered the cone of light. About five minutes later, the apeman and the UFO disappeared. Days later, a group of farmers saw a similar craft and similar looking apemen. A farmer’s son shot at the creatures and the one of the apemen raised it’s right hand in the air and the UFO and apemen disappeared instantly. There are many other stories of people seeing ape creatures near/in UFOs.

Here’s my opinion. I personally don’t think that Bigfoot is an alien. If anything, it’s related to the now extinct ”Gigantopithecus” species. But, I can understand why one would believe that Bigfoot is an alien. It easily explains why we haven’t found any bodies/remains and it could explain how it’s able to stay so hidden. The infamous Bigfoot on Mars photo also adds to this theory (though some believe that the Bigfoot on Mars is a product of “Pareidolia”). But do hairy creatures in UFOs automatically make them the Bigfoot we’ve been hunting for years? Perhaps not. Here’s a theory that I thought of myself. Maybe these hairy ape alien aren’t Bigfoots, but a species of alien that happen to look similar to Bigfoot. That could be the case. But are the Bigfoots that we’ve been seeing in forests around the world actually aliens? I don’t think so, but that’s just me. What do you think? Is Bigfoot really an alien or could we have been visited by hairy, ape-like aliens that have no relation to Sasquatch other than a similar physical appearance?

Ghosts. They’re an interesting subject because if you think about it, we really don’t know what they are. So I started to think, what are ghosts? Are they parts of the past that are somehow bleeding into the present, or are they actual entities that can think and do things by their own free will? Well, let’s talk about it. So let’s start with the theory that ghosts are merely windows to the past. I brought this up when we discussed the photos of a supposed ghost ship. In that post, I said that I believe ghost ships aren’t actual ghosts, but parts of the past that somehow spill over into the present (I made compared this to how the tears work in BioShock: Infinite) . But I started to think, what if regular ghosts are the same way. What is ghosts aren’t our souls/spirits (or whatever you think ghosts are) wandering around, but instead they’re just parts of our past somehow replaying? I remember seeing someone on a forum give a possible explanation as to how ghosts are able to travel through walls. it’s not that they have that ability, it’s that they’re just following a path that they walked in in their past. Example, say you walk down a hallway every day at your job. Because you walked down that hallway, it’s forever cemented in time that you walked down that hallway. Now, let’s say you die and the building is completely renovated and that hallway is removed and a bunch of offices and walls are put in it’s place. Because ghosts are just glimpses into the past, then because you waled where the hallway use to be, that doesn’t affect you still having walked down it all those years ago. So your “ghost” is still going to be walking down the same path where the hallway was, regardless if there are walls in front of you now. So in short, ghosts might just be parts of the past that just somehow replay in the present.

Now the other theory is that ghosts are actual entities with the ability to think on their own. You’ll see time and time again that ghosts have been known to pick things up and throw them. Sometimes, they’ve even had conversations with people. It’s believed that ghosts are our spirits/souls living on after our physical body has gone and died. We just live on in a spirit-type world instead of the physical world. Because we have a soul/spirit, that’s how we’re still able to have a mind of our own even in the afterlife. This is how ghosts can answer the questions they’re asked. This theory also branches into the thought that depending on the kind of person you were or the life you lived, that you’ll spend time in the world of the living as a spirit. For instance, people who lived a horrible life, perhaps as a slave or a prisoner, may be condemned to have their spirit live on in our world because they can’t move on. This is why people sometimes help spirits who are stuck here move on to the afterlife. Another example is people who may have been bad/evil in their life. As punishment, they may be forced to spend time (possibly all eternity) in the world of the living as a spirit. That way they are all alone with nobody to interact with and they’re soon forgotten. So in short, ghosts might be beings with the ability to think on their own and still have control over their actions and words.

So those are the two theories. In my personal opinion, I believe ghosts can be a combination of the two. Some may be just parts of the past bleeding into the present and we’re just watching parts of their life play out before us like a movie. And I think ghosts can be beings with the ability to say and do whatever they please even though their bodies are long gone. It really just depends on the locations, situation and the kind of person you were and the life you lived. So those are my thoughts, but what’s your opinion on ghosts? Are they just glimpses into the past that can’t change or be influenced? Or are they beings that can still think and do whatever they please despite their physical body being dead? Or, do you have a different theory entirely?

Why Would Aliens be Visiting Earth? “Theory Talk” Vol. 7

Why Would Aliens be Visiting Earth? “Theory Talk” Vol. 7

—————

Probably one of the biggest questions as to why aliens are/would be visiting us is, why? Why do they travel so far just to hover above our cities and even abduct us to do horrible (or ‘wonderful’ [hint hint, wink wink]) things to us aboard their ships? Well, let’s discuss some theories about this subject matter! So, as a whole, it seems the majority of people think that aliens have either passive/good intentions or hostile/evil intentions when it comes to them visiting Earth. Now, just to let everyone know, I do know that there are supposedly many different species/races of aliens and they all apparently have different “agendas” for humans. But for this post, I’m just gonna talk about alien life as whole.

So let’s start with the theory that aliens have passive/good intentions. If they have good intentions, they why are they coming here and doing things like scanning things around the planet? It’s possible that they’re learning what everything is and how it all works before they make themselves known. Let’s take for instance, weather storms and natural disasters. UFOs have frequently been seen during things such as tsunamis, tornadoes, earthquakes, ect. Perhaps they’re studying the effects of these disasters in order to find a way to help us survive them. That way, when they show themselves to us, we’ll maybe be more accepting of them because they have ways to help us live better and safer. But, why don’t they just show themselves to us? If they’re friendly, what’s holding them back? Are they afraid to talk to us just like how we’re afraid to talk to that one person who we really like but don’t have the balls to go up and talk to because we’re afraid of rejection and that the person will hate us and…um, where was I going with that? Oh right, rejection. Another reason is because, even though they have passive intentions, maybe they feel that we’re not ready to meet them because of all the war/violence/hate they witness is our world. That’s all I’m gonna say about that, but just to be clear, that’s why some believe aliens haven’t landed yet. So those could be the reason why aliens that have good intentions are visiting us, now let’s move on to the more sinister possibilities (*evil music plays*).

So, why would aliens be visiting out planet, scanning our landscape, observing nature fuck our shit up and be abducting us? Simple, world domination! As silly as that sounds, it’s a big possibility. First, the scanning and observing. They could be learning about the Earth and it’s natural disasters to learn about how it affects us. They could even be learning to see if they can recreate these natural disasters if they were to ever invade us and fight us. And abducting. They may be doing this in order to learn about us a species and learn what it is we’re weak to and what easily kills us. It may seem like a scary/evil thing to do, but we as people do it to. It’s “observing the enemy”. It’s a smart, strategic plan. You always want to have an advantage over you enemy. So if this is what aliens are doing here on Earth, then what can we do to even the odds? Easy, we…um, we all band together, get a lot of guns and shoot the aliens while shouting things like “‘Murica!” or “Straya [insert obscenity here]!” or whatever it is your county says as a whole. Earths official flag will read “Earth Rulez”. OK, I’ll stop. But, if aliens do have hostile/evil intentions, they could be coming here to learn on how to defeat us more easily.

So, those are the two sides of the argument/discussion. I personally don’t know where I definitively stand, but it’s somewhere towards the aliens having passive/good intentions. Maybe it’s because I hope they’re coming here for good reasons, but we’ll never know for sure until they actually show themselves. That being said, I’m still not sure if aliens are/have come to Earth at all. I do believe in a very, very small amount of alien abduction/sighting stories, but I’m still undecided as to whether they’ve been here. Though I do believe that there is alien life out there, somewhere. But whether you think aliens exist, don’t exist, have been here, haven’t been here, think, if aliens have/are coming to Earth, what would be the reason for doing so? Are they hoping to help us and become friends/allies one day, or do they hope to kill/enslave us all?

Are Aliens Actually Demons? “Theory Talk” Vol. 1

Are Aliens Actually Demons? “Theory Talk” Vol. 1

Yay, yet ANOTHER series! If you’ve been following for a long time, you’ll know that sometimes I like to talk about theories people have about certain things. And so I literally just thought, “hey, why not make that into it’s own series?! because people definitely need another series to follow!” and thus ‘Theory Talk’ was born! This probably won’t be much of a regular series as the other ones, but it’ll pop up every now and then. So to kick off the first installment, I thought I’d bring up the theory that aliens are actually demons. I’ve heard this theory being bounced around for quite a while, it’s nothing new. Basically people ask ‘what kind of benevolent being would kidnap, torture, and then drop off people? It’s such an evil and heinous act.’ So people started to think what if they aren’t beings like us? What if they actually some kind of spirit. And what kind of spirit does evil things? That’s right, demons. Now, it’s thought that aliens could be angelic beings from heaven or heaven like places. A few accounts of people encountering UFO-like objects have supposedly been found in the Bible. So it’s not strange for people to think that demons could also come in UFO-like ships. But the main question is are the aliens themselves actually demons? Personally, I don’t think so. People ask what kind of benevolent beings would kidnap people for experimentation? Well think about it, people do the same thing only with animals. In that sense, pretend we are the aliens and animals are people. When we find something new and unknown, we take it an experiment on it. So assuming aliens are just like us, they’re doing exactly what we do/would do! So now that you’ve heard both theories, which do you think is true? Are aliens actually demonic beings and that’s how they’re able to perform horrible experiments on people, or are they beings just like us that do the ‘natural’ thing when they encounter something unknown which is take it an find out more about it through tests in a lab?
