The Mystery of “May 19th, 2013 Expect us”.

The Mystery of “May 19th, 2013 Expect us”.

You know that feeling you get when you just hear about something and then you realize people have been talking about it for years. Yeah, I’m having one of those moments right now. So today, May 19th, something is/was suppose to happen. You may have seen the whole “5/19/13 Expect Us” stuff around the internet recently. Somehow I only learned of this a few days ago, but I was curious as to what it was. Well, I came across two possible answers for the origins and meaning behind this date. The first theory suggests that today was suppose to be the end of the world. Think December 21st, 2012 only it was 2013’s version. Well, obviously that didn’t happen. I believe the reason people believed this was today was the end of the world was because of something people “interpreted” from the Bible. Now I don’t if the whole “interpretation from the Bible” thing is correct, but either way people still seemed to think today was another apocalypse day. The second theory, and the most popular, is that this was all a hoax that originated on 4chan, specifically /b/. It was believed that sometime back in 2010, /b/ picked up on the date May 19th, 2013  and decided to create a fake “apocalypse-type” date thing just to mess with people. The website “5-19-13.com” helped spread this rumor around. The website just showed the date along with the message “Expect Us” and a faint picture of a woman with black eyes starring at you. People believe that this was all done just to prove how easy it was to trick the masses, that and/or they just wanted to simply mess with people. So those are the two “theories” about what and why this date was so significant to some. Now obviously the “Bible apocalypse interpretation” theory is the wrong one. This was simply a 4chan joke that succeeded. Though I do think it’s funny that today, of all days, was the day that Yahoo bought Tumblr. So I guess to us here on Tumblr, there was a mini-apocalypse that happened, but soon we all felt better when we realized that Yahoo will have no control over Tumblr what-so-ever. (Thank goodness) So that’s what this whole “May 19th” crap was about. Not aliens, not the end of the world, just a prank. But, question of the day. What is you’re apocalypse survival plan? (This includes any kind of apocalypse. I.E. zombie, natural disaster, ect.)

School in Botswana Dismisses Classes After Kids Report Seeing Small, Hairy Creature?

School in Botswana Dismisses Classes After Kids Report Seeing Small, Hairy Creature?

I think the most exciting thing that happened at school was when we got to go to the second story of one of the classroom buildings. Yeah, my school was boring. But you know what school isn’t boring? The Mathiba Primary School in Maun, Botswana. The reason being is because they have small, hairy creatures running around! Well, that’s according to the students. So either yesterday (May 24th, 2013) or May 17th, 2013 at around noon, a group of 6-7 students claimed they saw a short, black haired creature that resembling a human. The report sent widespread panic across all the other students. 10 students had to be treated for shock at a local clinic. This prompted the school to dismiss all their classes that day. Later on, it was discovered that nobody but the kids saw this small, hairy creature. This has prompted some to believe that this was nothing more than a story made up by the kids in order to get out of school. One teacher even saying that this mass hysteria was caused by nothing more than stresses of the upcoming exams.

How convenient that a humanoid creature shows up, is seen only by kids, causes mass hysteria among the other students, and exams are coming up. Yeah, i think I gotta go with the teacher on this one. Now before you say “oh well you just don’t believe them because they’re kids” that is definitely not the case. I judge everyone’s testimonies equally, but it’s obvious that these kids made it up. Whether it’s because of the exams or just because they wanted to get out of school. But what do you think? Did these kids really get spooked by a small humanoid creature or did they make the whole thing up just to get out of school?

Pennsylvania Man Finds Proof of Bigfoot’s Existence?

Pennsylvania Man Finds Proof of Bigfoot’s Existence?

Sometimes it baffles me how people find these tracks. Do you have some type of futuristic track finder, because that’s the only way you could’ve found that damn print! The reason i bring this up is because today we’re going to head on over to Pennsylvania where a man claims he found some tracks that prove Bigfoot exists. The man that’s making these bold claims is John Winesickle of Paint Township, Pennsylvania. John claims that in May 14th, 2013 he found some tracks a few miles from his home, and that they belong to Bigfoot himself. John called the police and led investigators to the sight of the tracks. But, the police weren’t as convinced as John. The police report ended up identifying the tracks as being those of a bear. However, this hasn’t changed John’s mind one bit. He’s still sticking to his theory that these are from Bigfoot. “No, no, a bear can’t go down a steep bank on all twos. This is Bigfoot.” He told local news station WTAJ. John says that he’s believed in Bigfoot his whole life. he says that he’s heard Bigfoot, saying that the bass in Bigfoot’s voice is lower than any bass singer he’s heard on TV. John also says that one time he actually saw a Bigfoot, but it quickly ran back into the bushes. Despite his claims of having definitive proof (that being the tracks), not even his wife is convinced that Bigfoot is real. But John says that he’s working on convincing her.
(A photo of the print found by John Winesickle.)

Damn, not even your wife believes you. That’s gotta suck. Regardless, let’s talk about this print. Looking at the photo, I think I gotta agree with the cops on this one. While it doesn’t look like most bear prints, there are photos of bear prints that look VERY similar to this one. Only difference being that you can see more toe prints on the others, while this one you can really only see three. But still, it looks almost identical to a bear print. But i can see why one might think it’s a Bigfoot print because it does look kind of like some other Bigfoot prints that’ve been found. Those are my thoughts, but what do you think? Did this man really stumble upon the tracks of a Bigfoot or are they just bear prints?

Vancouver Man Photographs UFO

Vancouver Man Photographs UFO

What if we were to replace our eyes with full spectrum camera eyes. I wonder if we’d be able to see hidden UFOs and ghosts and stuff. I ask this because I question how people don’t see UFO until they look at the photo(s) on their computer. Is it because the UFO is using a cloaking devise and can only be seen by infrared? Or is it because it really wasn’t their? Well today we’re headed to Vancouver, Canada where a man says that he photographed a UFO, but only noticed it until he loaded the photos to his computer. The photo was taken in May 25th, 2013 by the Northern Shore Mountain. Anthony Ellias was out taking photos and later loaded them on to his computer. That’s when he noticed something odd in one of the photos. A silver, saucer-shaped craft can be seen hovering near the mountain. The object only appeared in one photo and Anthony believes that this is genuine evidence of aliens.
(The photo taken by Anthony Ellias supposedly showing a UFO.)
(A close up of the original photo.)

OK, in this case i can kind of understand how you might not see that. It is pretty small. Now he did say it only appeared in one photo, but I kind of have a problem with that. That would mean it either just disappeared into thin air or it was flying so fast that when he took the picture it was at the perfect moment. I don’t think it was going fast because there’s no motion blur at all. it’s possible that it could have just disappeared out of thin air, but come one, how convenient would that be. Anthony didn’t upload any other pictures he took to prove he didn’t capture the object more than once, but it’s also possible that the other photos he took were of completely different areas/angles. The craft could still have been there but the camera just wasn’t pointed in the right area. So there’s many possibilities, but I’m kind of leaning towards this actually being Photoshopped (what a cop-out answer!). There’s just something about the UFO that’s really bugging me, like it somehow doesn’t match the rest of the photo (i.e. quality, lighting, ect.) That’s my opinion on this, but what’s yours? Did this man snap a picture of a real UFO or is it just another product of Photoshop?

Man Photographs UFO in Canada?

Man Photographs UFO in Canada?

Ah, nothing like some orange clouds in the evening to bring neighbors together. Until two of them decide to gossip about how your lawn is horribly kept and then it all goes down hill from there. So remember, don’t gossip about your neighbors with your other neighbors. (The more you know) Thank you for joining me for this important lesson, have a great day…oh wait we have a UFO photo to discuss. Let’s head on over to Vancouver, Canada (again) where a man was outside with his neighbors enjoying some evening clouds while he took some pictures. This occurred sometime in 2009. While taking the pictures, he noticed a mysterious object flying in or near the stormy clouds. He took a picture of it quickly. The fact that the object was flying near some stormy clouds led the man to believe that this wasn’t a plane. He soon forgot about the photo until recently when he went to edit some panoramic photos. That’s when he decided to finally upload the photo to Reddit. He reported his image to the BC UFO group and they were very interested in the photo.

(A zoomed in version of the original photo.)
What the hell is that? Is it a reflection, a lens flare, a plane? I don’t know what it is! When I look at it from far away, it looks like some weird reflection/lens flare. When I look at a zoomed in version, it kind of looks like a plane or some bad Photoshop edit. I’m really stumped on this one, but I can’t shake the feeling that this was edited in afterwards. I’m gonna stay in the middle on this one, but I’m kind of leaning towards it being fake. What do you think? Is this a real UFO or is it just a fake?
