Witch’s Ghost Photographed at Historical Prison?

Witch’s Ghost Photographed at Historical Prison?

Some times there are photos/videos of the paranormal that just look so fake, that I have to wonder how they catch people’s attention. Today we’re going to be talking about those kinds of photos. The photos were taken sometimes this past weekend (on June 7th, 2013 to be exact) in Essex, England at the old witch prison known as “The Cage”. This prison once held the infamous witch Ursula Kemp and 14 others who were accused of witchcraft. They were hung in the late 1500’s. In 1921, two female skeletons were discovered on the property; with one thought to be Kemp’s. It’s now believed that Ursula haunts the prison, and some recently taken photos may show her ghost. The two photographs were taken by spirit photographer Ron Bowers were uploaded by “The Cages” current owner, Vanessa Mitchell. The photos show an ectoplasm-like figure floating in front of the lens. The camera that was used was a Fiju 9500 digital camera and no special lens was used when taking the pictures.

I’m sorry, but I just don’t think these photos are real. The ghost looks like some cheap after effect. It really looks like it was added in afterwards. And why put the ugly copyright watermark ON the ghost? Wouldn’t it make more sense to put it in the corner of the photo? It almost looks like you’re copyrighting the ghost itself. So overall, while it’s very possible that “The Cage” is haunted, I don’t think these photos show a ghost; just a bad Photoshop effect. But what do you think? Do these two photos show an actual ghost or are they just bad after effects?

Rocket-Shaped UFO Photographed in the Netherlands?

Rocket-Shaped UFO Photographed in the Netherlands?

Imma take a picture of this cool building and hedge maze. Oh what’s this? A UFO is in the shot? Gee that sure is lucky that I caught that! And that is the back-story to this photo. So today we’re gonna head on over to the Muiderslot Castle in Muiden, Netherlands. The photo was taken on May 25th, 2013 by photographer Corinne Federer. Corinne was out with her mother one day on a trip to the castle when she took a picture. She was shocked to find that a rocket-shaped craft with an S-shaped fin could be seen in the upper right hand corner of the photo. Arriving home, she uploaded the photo to her computer to study it more. After reviewing the image info, she says that the object was blurred at 1/250th of a second, meaning that whatever this is it had to have been going really fast. Former FBI agent Ben Hansen, who’s now on the Syfy series “Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files” (still don’t understand how Fact or Faked has survived this long), believes that the photo was not manipulated in any way and what we’re looking at was really there. However, he doesn’t seem to think that it’s a craft from another planet; instead he thinks that we’re looking at an insect.

An insect? I was gonna say a cloud, but I can see an insect being an explanation. I would go as far to say that this shouldn’t be classified as a UFO picture, but a picture of a ROD. If you don’t know what a ROD is, they’re essentially these little bug things that show up on videos and pictures and have long bodies with multiple wings. They move very fast and some believe they can travel between the third and fourth dimension. They a hotly debated topic, with most believing they’re simply bugs that just look strange due to them moving so fast that cameras can’t keep up with them. Basically, RODs are really just normal bugs and not alien bugs. But, if this were a “ROD” then we’d see at least another set of wings, yet here we only see one pair of what might be insect wings. I’m still thinking this is a cloud. It looks almost identical to the other clouds IMO; but again, I can see it possibly being a bug. What do you think? Is this a real alien craft? Is it a ROD? Or, is it just a bug or a cloud?

Mysterious Brown Foam Appears in Lake Mead?

Mysterious Brown Foam Appears in Lake Mead?

Aliens, I know you don’t like water and all, but stop emptying your septic tanks into our water supplies. I mean, I’m assuming it’s the aliens that caused this brown foam to appear in Lake Mead this week. That’s right, Lake Mead which is in Nevada and (I believe) part of Arizona; mysterious brown foam was discovered on the lake this week. This has caused dozens of the fish in the lake to start dying. Park officials ordered people to stay away from the lake and they took samples of the foam. So far, they claim nothing is out of the ordinary but more tests are to be conducted. Test result are expected sometime in the near future, but in the mean time people are speculating what could have caused the strange foam. Some have suggested it was caused by dumping chemicals into the lake, while others have said aliens could be the cause. This kind of reminds me of when that UFO crashed into Shag (heh, shag…) Harbor in Nova Scotia back in 1967. Mysterious yellow foam formed in the harbor due to the object that supposedly crashed. I just thought it was worth mentioning that mystery foam has been tied to a UFO sighting. I personally don’t know if a UFO is to blame, it’s probably not. I’m sure chemicals are to blame, but they won’t tell us that. So until the test result roll in, we’ll just have to keep speculating. So what do you think caused the brown foam? Was it people dumping chemicals or was it something more supernatural, like aliens?

Hellhounds.

Hellhounds.

3 months later, I’m finally doing that in-depth post about Hellhounds I said I’d do! So, what are hellhounds exactly? Well, that depends. They’ve thought to have been many things. Though a common theme is that hellhounds are guardians of the gates to the afterlife. They’ve also had many differences in it’s appearance. They’ve mostly been known to have black fur with glowing eyes (red or yellow), posses great speed and strength, ghostly or phantom-like characteristics, having a foul smelling odor coming from them and they can even sometimes talk. In other legends they’ve sometimes been seen with fiery characteristics and have abilities based around fire (so they’re basically Pokemon). Now, since hellhounds are supposedly guardians of the gates to the world of the dead, they’ve been mostly sighted around graveyards and burial grounds. Hunting down lost souls and even guarding supernatural treasure have also been parts of their jobs. European legends suggest that if you hear the howl of a hellhound, it’s an omen of death and can even be the cause of death. It’s also been known that if you look directly into it’s eyes three times that you’ll definitely die and there’s nothing you can do to save yourself. In the more recent years, seeing a hellhound means that something bad may come soon. One of the most infamous sightings of a hellhound at a wedding. It appeared behind the groom and this prompted him to quit doing drugs as he believed that this was a sign that bad things were going to happen if he didn’t change his life for the better.

So that’s basically the gist on hellhounds. Now there are MANY more variations on beliefs and meanings behind them, but I just wanted to mainly cover the popular and more accepted/believed theories. What do I think about hellhounds? Well, I believe that if you see one or one shows up in a picture or video (like the wedding one), then it’s definitely a sign that something is wrong or is going to go wrong. I’m not sure if I necessarily believe they’re guardians of the gates to hell. I mean, I guess it’s possible but I particularly don’t believe that to be true. And that’s basically all I have to say on hellhounds. What do you think? Do hellhounds exist or are they just the things of legends? If you think they do exist, what is their purpose and what could it mean if someone was to see one?

Pennsylvania Town Hit with Mysterious Sounds and Quakes?

Pennsylvania Town Hit with Mysterious Sounds and Quakes?

They’re back! Remember those weird noises the were heard in Wisconsin last year? Well they’re back, only now they’re in Pennsylvania and they’ve brought quakes with them. On May 24th, 2013 in Sharon, Pennsylvania at around 7:30 p.m. a Hubbard-West Middlesex (must not giggle like a child…) resident reported hearing a loud booming noise. He called Mercer County 911 and said that it didn’t sound like a transformer blew up and that all the neighbors were coming out to see what made the noise. They also felt their houses shake. Police were dispatched, but were unable to determine what caused the booming and shaking. A few days before, a similar boom and quake was reported from Mercer to Grove City. Police have not officially determined what caused the mystery noises, but they’ve blamed weekend holiday festivities. That hasn’t convinced residents who experienced the sounds and shakes. Look, I said this before and I’ll say it again. It’s necromorphs I don’t know what could be causing these booms since I’m not actually hearing them. It sounds like this one was more loud and forceful since it caused a mini-quake. The one from last year was probably some kind of transformer explosion. But, who really knows. So what do you think is causing these strange noises? Is it simple transformer explosions? Supernatural creature? Aliens? Or something else entirely?
