Bigfoot-Like Creature Photographed in Virginia?

Bigfoot-Like Creature Photographed in Virginia?

If there’s one bright side to this photo, it’s that it was taken in the daytime. The photo we’re going to be talking about today was taken on July 18th, 2013 at around 2:30 p.m., somewhere in southwestern mountains of Virginia. The photo was submitted to The Southwest Times by a man named Roger Williams. The photo was snapped by a trail camera that was set up, and once Roger discovered the bizarre image showing a Bigfoot/strange ape-like creature, he quickly submitted it to the local paper. Once people saw the photo, they were quick to compare it to the well known 2007 Rick Jacobs juvenile Bigfoot photo. Roger told the newspaper, “Carefully scrutinizing the image, it appears that the right arm shows fingers as the animal grasps the base of the tree stump. It also has elongated feet similar to a man’s appendages. Its fur is matted on the back but thin on the arms and legs. Unfortunately, the head and face are not shown by the image taken.”. Roger thinks it must be a bear, “It has to be a bear, does it not?” he said. He says he hunts in the area annually, and has seen no signs of Bigfoot. There were no tracks or prints left by the mysterious creature, but Roger would still like to see if anybody can help identify what exactly the creature is.

It looks like some kind of furry Silent Hill monster. Which is why I don’t get the whole Bear argument. For both this photo and the Rick Jacobs one, people say they’re just Bears. But, to me anyway, they both look too lanky to be bears. I can kind of get on board with the juvenile Bigfoot theory, but I’m just not sure that’s what it is either. I think the possibility that this is an escaped primate, possibly someone’s pet ape (whether legal or illegal). But, I don’t know about that theory either. So, I’m split down the middle on this one. I can definitely see either one of those theories being the true identity. Though, I am slightly leaning towards this being an escaped primate, but that’s just me. So, what do you think? Was a juvenile Bigfoot photographed lurking around the Virginia mountains, or is this just a possible escaped primate, or could it be a hoax?
