Ghost Photographed on a Gravestone in Massachusetts?

Ghost Photographed on a Gravestone in Massachusetts?

'No officer, we weren't goofing around, we were ghost hunting!' I guess that's one thing that slightly irks me about today's time. Tons of people now call themselves ghost hunters, and feel that they're entitled to go wherever the hell they want because 'oh, I'm a ghost hunter'. Just because you have a gun and you shot a rabbit, doesn't mean you're a hunter. It means you're a person with a gun. Same thing with 'ghost hunters', your a person with a camera. When you at least act professional, then you can consider yourself a real ghost hunter, regardless if your an ‘amateur’ or a ‘pro’. One person who needs to learn what makes a real ghost hunter is 43 year-old Gregory Gundberg of New Bedford, Massachusetts. On November 9th, 2013 at around 8 p.m., Gregory and his two friends, Chris Houchman & Patrick Silva, went into the Oak Grove Cemetery, armed with flashlights, cameras and recorders. Gregory says that they weren’t goofing around, they were ghost hunting. However, they eventually kicked out by Detective Captain Steven Vicente, after he saw them in the cemetery that night. No one is allowed in city cemeteries after dark. But, Gregory and his friends were able to capture a picture before they were kicked out, one that supposedly shows a ghost by a gravestone. The photo (shown above), shows a bright orb-like spirit with two faint red orbs above it. Gregory believes the ghost is evil and that the red orbs are it’s eyes. He says that when he and his friends ghost hunt, they rely of guile and their natural instincts (this isn’t Metal Gear, it’s ghost hunting). They strike up conversations at a tombstone and ask how the person died and if the death was by natural causes or not. “They’re there.” Gregory says. “You just have to be quick about it. It’s a lot of work. It’s not easy. It takes a lot of patients.” Gregory added that he and his friends want to establish their own business as paranormal investigators, hiring themselves out to remove spirits from people’s homes. They’re currently spending their days researching ghost hunting and have plans to investigate the Lizzie Borden house sometime in the future. Lastly, Gregory says a ghost hunter can’t be afraid of ghosts. “If you’re afraid, you’re in the wrong business.”

Listen, just because you want to be a ghost hunter, doesn’t mean you can just break the law to do so. When you do that, you’re making yourself look unprofessional. If you’d ask for permission to enter the cemetery, then you wouldn’t have to rely on ‘guile’ and your ‘natural instincts’. They’re trying to sound like they use those skills to hunt ghosts, but in reality, it’s so they can avoid being caught and getting in trouble. But, let’s talk about this photo they took. Right off the bat, you can see it doesn’t look like a typical ghost. This one is very bright. In my opinion, this looks too much like a reflection. Perhaps the camera’s flash reflected off of something reflective on the tombstone. I also believe the two red orbs are a product of the reflection of the flash. They do look more ghostly than the white “ghost”, but I’m still not convinced they’re a ghost’s eyes. So overall, I believe this photo shows nothing more than a reflection of the camera’s flash. But what do you think? Did these amateur ghost hunters capture evidence of an evil spirit in a cemetery, or were these three friends simply goofing off in a place where they weren’t allowed?
