Body of Mysterious, Elongated Creature Discovered in South Africa?

Sometimes I like to think that God got really bored when creating some things. So he created weird/ugly creatures to amuse himself. Things like the Platypus, Baboons, Blobfish, me, so many things. But the weirdest thing that God may have created is this dead creature that was found in South Africa last month. The strange carcass was discovered by a tourist just outside of Plettenberg Bay. When news of the carcass began to circulate the world, many began to speculate what exactly it was. Many think it’s some kind of alien. But, the people of South Africa seem to think it’s a creature known as the “Tokoloshe”. A Tokoloshe is a short ape/goblin-like evil spirit known to cause mischief and havoc, with some believing that they can be summoned by witch doctors. They’ve been blamed for things such as shutting down church services and causing illness. The elongated body of this supposed Tokoloshe was sent to Dr. Magdalena Braum of the Crags Veterinary Clinic. She says that what she saw was not uncommon. “Anyone could see it was a baby Baboon.” she said. Dr. Braum theorized that the young Baboon was prematurely killed by a predator and the mother carried it’s body around for a while. This caused the body to elongate. She says that if the body hadn’t been elongated, they would’ve been able to identify the body immediately

I’ve thought about all the theories as to what this could be, and they all sound a bit to wacky, but a dead Baboon sounds like it’s the best choice. I can see this being an alien more than it being some kind of witchcraft goblin thing. The only reason I’m siding with it being a dead baboon is because the Dr. sounds pretty confident in her assumption. i don’t know if she actually ran tests to confirm if it was a Baboon, but I’m assuming she did. So for me, this is just a dead Baboon that elongated. But what do you think? Is this the body of some kind of bizarre alien/goblin creature or is it just an elongated baby Baboon carcass?
