Northampton Being “Terrorized” by Mysterious, Creepy Clown?

I want to personally thank Stephen King for making me afraid of clowns when I was a kid. I stayed up many nights, staring at my closet door, thinking that that stupid clown Pennywise would pop out. Well, for all of you how live in Northampton, England and are still deathly afraid of clowns, I’d advise you lock your doors close your curtains and become a hermit for a few months, because there is a “real life” Pennywise stalking your streets. Don’t worry, this creepy clown doesn’t kill you, he just stares at you from outside your home! So starting this past Friday (Friday the 13th, 2013), people began seeing a mysterious clown standing outside their houses, staring at them. Nobody knows who exactly the clown is, but people have become worried, and even frightened, by his pressence. One person, Twitter user @jogo78, took a picture of the creepy clown (shown above). One woman claims the clown actually knocked on her door, asking if she’d like him to paint her window sills, despite not having any paint (is that some kind of perverted clown lingo?). The police are currently tracking down two teenagers who were apparently caught dressed as clowns and acting in a peculiar fashion. Some have pointed out the similarities between this and Switzerland’s “Le Loyon”, which is a mysterious, cloaked figure that supposedly inhabits/haunts the forests of Maules.

There’s really not much for me to say about this. It’s literally a guy dressed as a clown freaking people out. There’s nothing paranormal about this, it’s just plain creepy. I really don’t do “just creepy” type news stories, but I really liked this one for some reason and thought you all would enjoy it. So question of the day. What is one thing that scared you as a kid and still freaks you out to this day?
