Miley Cyrus Experienced Paranormal Activity in London Apartment?

Hooray, more paranormal celebrity news! This time, we’re talking about everyone’s favorite twerking superstar, Miley Cyrus! So back in May 2013, before her infamous 2013 VMA performance, Miley told British ELLE magazine that she experienced paranormal activity in a rented apartment she had in London. In fact, the events were so terrifying, that she fled the apartment. The bizarre incident took place during Miley’s European tour (no specific date or year was given). She said she needed a “home base” during the tour, and decided to use an apartment she had rented out that was just across the street from a Harrods, in London. Miley says the apartment building use to be a bakery before it was transformed into an apartment building. One night, Miley says that her younger sister, Noah, began screaming loudly. She rushed to see that Noah was standing in the shower and the water had become extremely hot. “It wasn’t like the water had just changed, the knob had turned but she hadn’t turned it and it was burning her.” She said. Miley goes on to say that before this, she claims she saw a little boy sitting in the sink, kicking his feet, watching her while she took a shower. After researching, Miley apparently discovered that a boy had taken over the running of the bakery after his mother and father had died (it’s like Ciel Phantomhive if he were the son of a baker). She believes that the little boy she saw sitting in the sink was the son that’d taken over the old bakery. “I thought I was seeing the son. I’m not even kidding,” she recalled. “Three or four more things happened after that. I will never stay there ever again. Liam (her now ex-fiance) had an experience, my mom had an experience, we all had these crazy experiences and it was terrifying.”

You can tell this was before the VMA fiasco, because if this happened after the VMAs, she would’ve twerked the ghosts away. OK, all jokes aside, I’m really not sure what to make of this. I mean, on one hand, who’s to say that she didn’t experience these freaky events in the apartment. Just because she’s a celebrity doesn’t mean she’s unable to experience paranormal activity. But on the other hand, this is 2013 Miley Cyrus talking, and she has been known to do and say things just to get media attention, and this could be another one of those times where she’s just saying something so people will talk about her. I think my gut is leaning more towards this being just some kind of ploy to get media attention, but a small part of me is thinking she could be telling the truth. Those are my thoughts, but what are yours? Did Miley Cyrus really stay in a haunted apartment in London, or is this something she fabricated just for media attention?
