Chupacabra Attacks Reported in Puerto Rico?

Chupacabra Attacks Reported in Puerto Rico?

Not gonna lie, I got really excited when I read that the “old” Chupacabra has returned. I’m not sure what that says about my life, though I’m pretty sure it means I’m going to end up being that one crazy old guy who lives down the street. But until then, let’s talk about a recent string of Chupacabra attacks that’ve been plaguing Guayama, Puerto Rico. During the first week of April 2013, Mr. Ray D. Rodriguez (his friends call him “Chalka”) and his nephew were out in the fields herding cattle to the barn one night. They were driving a pickup truck and using the headlights to look for any cows they needed to herd. They also had a powerful LED flashlight with them. When they reached the middle area of the field, the two spotted a pair of small, red, glinting eyes up ahead. Thinking it was a cow, they drove up to where they saw the eyes, but they saw that nothing was around. Deciding to leave, they turned the truck around and drove back only to see the red eyes once again. This time, Mr. Rodriguez told his nephew to stop the truck. That’s when they saw, on a mound, a dark figure resembling a short-statured man who was crouching. Mr. Rodriguez grabbed the flashlight, got out of the truck and got a closer look. When he shined the light on the figure, he saw that it was a yellowish or bright orange creature who’s color slowly diminished in the light. He saw that the creature had things on it’s back and head that resembled quills. Mr. Rodriguez then called for his nephew to give him the machete. Getting closer to the creature, it leaped and ran towards the undergrowth. Mr. Rodriguez gave chase and called for his nephew to join him. Eventually, the creature reached a fence and leaped over it, while Mr. Rodriguez crawled under it, still chasing the creature. The creature ran towards a large tree and just as Mr. Rodriguez reached it, the creature had vanished. A week later in the same area, the creature attacked two mares and slaughtered two calves.

Welcome back Chupacabra, where the fuck have you been these past few years? Well, all that matters is that you’re back. Although I’m not sure I should be glad that a bloody thirsty demon alien creature is being seen again, but I think you know what I mean. Anyway, since there are no pictures of this Chupacabra, we’ll just have to judge this encounter on eyewitness testimony. It’s hard to judge something based on just an eyewitness account alone, but there’s something about this encounter that seems sort of genuine. The Chupacabra sounds exactly like it’s always been described as looking (not including the mangy Coyote ones). Nothing in Mr. Rodriguez’s testimony sounds fishy or contradictory. So overall, while I’m not 100% ready to say that he’s telling the complete truth (since there’s always a possibility that he’s lying), I think I’m slightly leaning towards this sighting being real. But what do you think? Did this man and his nephew actually see a real Chupacabra or did they make it all up just to say that a Chupacabra was responsible for the animal attacks that happened a few weeks ago?
