Ghost Girl Photographed in a Haunted Ohio School?

School is scary enough thanks to the bullies, teachers who have it out for you for some reason, and the strange cafeteria food that you swear moves when you aren’t looking. But the thought that a ghost could be roaming the halls is definitely something that’s not needed to know. Unfortunately, some students at the now closed Lyme Elementary School in Bellevue, Ohio had to go to a school that is supposedly haunted. A team of paranormal investigators known as the OPI (Ohio Paranormal Investigations), did an investigation of the supposedly haunted school, which was built back in 1812 and was closed in 2009. The group claims they captured photographic evidence of a little ghost girl named “Alyssa”. The photo (shown above), shows a small, wispy figure in the bottom right corner. The picture was taken in the school’s boiler room by a ghost hunter named Lauren Folk, and she believes the ghost girl is about 7 years old, has short brown hair and wears a white dress. Folk also believes pink is the girl’s favorite color. As of now, there doesn’t seem to be any more information on who the girl may have been or why she’s haunting the school, but the OPI team believes this is proof that something supernatural is lurking around in the school.

I feel like this picture, while it does look pretty real and convincing, could be some kind of reflection. Now, I will say that this is one of the few ghost photos where you can actually see a human-ish shape. Most of the time, these photos just show blobs, and the people who took them go ‘look, it’s a person!’ and then they proceed to flip out and act like children hiked up on sugar (I’m looking at you Ghost Adventures). Though, this photo, I can actually see what does look like a little ghost girl. But does that mean it’s a real ghost? Well, that could depend on what you think. The reason I think it could be a reflection is only because of the strange above the ghost. I’m not really sure what it is, it kind of looks like maybe someone has a door open and light is coming in and that’s what the greenish thing above the ghost is, but it could also be a, very slim, indication that this is some kind of light reflection, a camera glitch or even a smudge on the lens. I think of the three, a light reflection is the best possible answer, but me personally, I’m kind of leaning towards this being real. It’s not by much, but something about it just seems of genuine. What do you think? Does this photo show a little ghost girl in a haunted school, or is this just something like a light reflection?
