———-

'Hi it's the 1930's, can we have our words and cloths and shitty airplane back?' I'm really hoping at least some of you know where that's from. But we're not here to discuss quotes, we're here to head on over to New York in the year 1933 where there's a story of a plane. Not just any plane, a ghost plane. On December 26th, 1933 every airport in New York City was asked to turn on their landing lights in hopes that an airplane heard circling above the city during a snowstorm would eventually land. Attempts to contact the plane by radio failed and no one knew who was flying the plane or where it came from. By the time night fell, the NYPD was fielding numerous calls from people who said they'd heard a plane flying dangerously close to the ground. Then the ghost plane simply disappeared. No crashes were reported and no planes or people had ever been reported missing. To this day, no one knows who was flying the plane, where it came from and where it went. I don't know, I Googled this to see if any more information popped up and I got nothing other than the article I was already reading. Could this be just another internet urban legend? Most likely. But I guarantee that every time you hear a plane fly overhead, you'll look up to see if it's really there. (I know I will…don’t judge me) What do you think? Could there’ve been a ghost plane flying over NYC during a snowstorm or is this just a made up story on the internet? Do you think that there can be things such as ‘ghost planes’ and ‘ghost ships’?
